Minimalist Pendant Necklace made of sterling silver and lacquer Japanese. I love the art modern and this 925 silver necklace is inspired by this time, a type of piece made with delicately balanced and geometric form. The technique used in this modern and unique piece is Cashew Japanese Lacquer.

Art Japanese Jewelry

The Geometric pendant has many layers of lacquer that have been carved and polished to a high sheen. Over metal base is formed in the desired shape, and then multiple layers of colored lacquer are applied. Because of the properties of the sap, the lacquer hardens rather then dries. Creating a piece of Japanese lacquer is a very labor intensive process, but all the time and hard work results in a wonderful and truly unique piece of jewelry.
